About Us
|
Over the past 25 years, Alan Shuptrine has emerged as amaster craftsman in the centuries-old art of hand carving and gilding fine frames, furniture, and objects of art. Alan is most sought after for his mastery in one-of-a-kind elegant frames, that marry the frame to art. Alan's wonderful frames are tailored, piece by piece, to enhance and add value to each piece of art put inside.
Through his companies, Gold Leaf Designs and Gallery and Shuptrine Fine Art, he has established relationships with museums, galleries, private collectors, and artists. His desire to pursue a career in the arts of framing, gilding, and restoration grew out of his natural inclination and love of the fine arts. Alan Shuptrine is also known, like his father before him, as an artist of such beautiful watercolors as those seen below. He has spent many years studying, and with his natural talent, and his father's inspiration, Alan has the skills of a master artist. You can view more of Alan's magnificent art here or at his personal website www.alanshuptrine.com.
