Plein Aire Workshops with Brett Weaver

Shuptrine Fine Art Group / Gold Leaf Designs & Gallery is pleased to announce opportunities to participate in plein aire workshops with artist Brett Weaver.  Working in oils, Brett Weaver is an accomplished artist whose works are included in private collections nationwide.  He is currently working on a body of paintings to be included in his inaugural museum exhibition to be hosted by the Tennessee State Museum in December 2008. 

The workshops vary from one- to two-day intensives focusing on the simplicity of design and composition, and the importance of variety and color relationships, as well as being bold and direct.  Mr. Weaver typically demonstrates his techniques in the morning, and provides individual focus and critique while students paint in the afternoon.

Mr. Weaver provides all paints except for white. The workshop is open to art students and art enthusiasts of all levels.  Please contact Shuptrine Fine Art Group / Gold Leaf Designs & Gallery at 423-266-4453 for more information and reservations, as space is limited.
