Chattanooga, TN – Shuptrine Fine Art Group is pleased to announce an opportunity for art students and enthusiasts to participate in a painting workshop with Dale Crawford, an internationally published illustrator, fine art painter, and portrait artist. He is a graduate of the Ringling School of Art and Design in Sarasota, Florida, whose paintings are included in many private collections, as well as exhibiting at the Museum of American Illustration in New York City. 

Mr. Crawford also teaches college-level illustration classes in which he focuses on the fundamentals of drawing, painting, composition, and concept.  His skills range from the precise nature of portraiture, to the more creative work of graphic design, and his unique perspective comes from the competitive and versatile world of illustration. 
This workshop will cover using reference materials effectively, composition, understanding value/color relationships, atmospheric perspective, and will consist of an introductory presentation and demonstration by Mr. Crawford, a class painting session followed by class critique.

Students will need to bring their lunch, while drinks will be provided.
