Born in Riverside California , Bart Lindstrom was raised to appreciate the outdoors and art. After studying at the Art Center in Pasadena , he started to frame paintings for friends and others and paint a little on his own. After moving to Texas and selling limited editions of his watercolors, the work of Mr. Lindstrom started to take off.
After moving to Chattanooga later on in his career, he started to do more and more oil paintings and portraits, which is currently his primary medium. He is a nationally recognized artist, conference speaker, former board member of the American Society of Portrait Artists, and cofounder of the Portrait Society of America.
Mr. Lindstrom, like all of our portrait artists, finishes his portraits with our one-of-a-kind, handcrafted framing.
