Liz Lindstrom captures the unique expressiveness of the individual in her classic oil, charcoal, sanguine, or conté portraits.

She begins a portrait by talking with the client to get an idea of the individual’s personality and character. She then records various poses and expressions in photographs. She also talks to family members about the subject, learning as much as she can about the individual. Through the use of photographs, notes, and sketches, Ms. Lindstrom then works in her studio to capture a moment, one that will show the inner person through the portrait.

In autumn of 2002, Ms. Lindstrom was awarded a scholarship by Portrait Brokers of America to attend The Scottsdale Artist's School in Arizona . She continues to broaden her horizons with each work accomplished.

Each portrait is delivered in one of our handcrafted frames, as Ms. Lindstrom feels that only then is the portrait completed.
